Marketing website privacy notice

Who we are. Provory is operated by KnownCS LLC. In this notice, “Provory,” “we,” and “us” mean that operator. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@provory.com.
What this notice covers. This notice explains information used by the public marketing website at provory.com. You can read its pages without an account. The marketing website has no sign-in, upload or payment form. The separate application at app.provory.com handles sign-in and vehicle records, including evidence you provide. That processing is described in the Provory application privacy notice.

The click information we send consists of the public page, the link’s location on that page, its label, its destination and whether the link is for navigation, starting a record or logging in. These custom events do not contain your email address, sign-in details, account identifier, VIN, vehicle details or record contents. Arbitrary page text, URL query strings and incoming referrers are excluded from these custom event fields.
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics and Mixpanel may also receive pseudonymous browser identifiers, timestamps and technical connection information, including the IP address needed for a network connection. Pseudonymous identifiers can link activity from the same browser; this is not a promise that analytics data is anonymous. Our site configuration disables automatic page and interaction capture, session replay, advertising personalization and Google signals. Mixpanel IP-based geolocation is disabled; that does not prevent the service from receiving a connection’s IP address.
Your analytics choice
Optional analytics stays off until you choose Accept analytics, or return with a still-valid acceptance saved in this browser. Before that choice, this website does not load Google Analytics or Mixpanel or send them analytics requests. You can choose Reject analytics and continue using all marketing pages and links. Without JavaScript, optional analytics stays off and those pages and links remain usable.
You can change your choice in the Optional analytics section on any marketing page where analytics is configured. Choosing Reject analytics stops future custom analytics events from this website, disables its provider tracking and clears its Google Analytics cookies. It does not automatically delete event history already received by the providers.
The website keeps optional analytics off when it detects Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track value of 1. Browser settings can also block or clear storage. Clearing the saved preference means the website will no longer remember that choice. If the browser cannot save it, your choice applies to the current page only.

Providers and links to the app
The website uses Google Firebase Hosting for page delivery and, when you accept, Google Analytics and Mixpanel for the measurement described above.
Links that open the app include public campaign labels identifying provory.com, the marketing website and the link’s page location. These labels do not identify you or your car. They travel in the link even if you reject optional analytics or disable JavaScript. Marketing analytics choices are stored separately from the app and do not establish an app account or a sign-in session.
